1. Help Overlook Eradicate the Lesser Celandine Plant

Please help Overlook make progress towards eradicating the invasive Lesser Celandine. Though this plant looks cheery, it chokes out other species by spreading rapidly via seed as well as small bulb-lets. Property holders are strongly encouraged to manage and properly dispose of this plant. For more information and proper disposal instructions, check out the Portland Environmental Services website.

2. FREE Heroes and Villains Untapped Trivia Night

If you have been missing trivia nights at Untapped you may be interested to learn that they have continued to host virtual trivia nights despite their closure in 2020. This Wednesday and Sunday night Untapped is partnering with Pinky’s Pizza to raise money to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of OR and SW Washington.

Wednesday, March 24 — 7:00-9:00 p.m. PT

Sunday, March 28th — 5:00-7:00 p.m. PT

Don’t forget to order Pinky’s Pizza to go so you can have pizza on hand to fuel your trivia answers. If you register for a game, you will receive 10% off your order.

Sign up to play for either night here. Be sure to register early and save a spot for your team. Registration for this event will close at 12:00 p.m. (pacific time) the day of each event unless the event fills up prior to that time.

3. Ridwell Recycling Pickup In 97217

The Ridwell Company is looking for interest levels in the 97217 zip code for a plastic recycling program that would make twice/month pickups of items not accepted by curbside recycling including plastics (zip lock bags, bubble wrap, air pillows, Prime shippers, bread and produce bags, cereal bags), batteries, clothing/shoes and more. Once they reach 600 interested households they will begin their program in our area. Find out more and show your interest on the Ridwell website.
