Portland Polish Festival Returns! 

The 27th Portland Polish Festival invites you, your family, and your friends to experience the food, dance, and music of Poland! All Ages. Free Admission. Enjoy authentic Polish food, live music and dance performances, exhibits about Polish history and culture, activities for children, polka contests and local merchants.

Cathedral Park Beach Cleanup – South of Fishing Dock

Saturday September 16th from 3:30-6pm, a large cleanup is happening at Cathedral Park in St. Johns to pick up litter and remove chunks of concrete that are inhibiting beach access to the Willamette River.  This event is being led by SOLVE, and includes a lot of other stakeholders and sponsors, but they could also use your help to volunteer.

Broadway Bridge to Close for Repairs – Sunday September 24 from 6am – 6pm

On Sunday, Sept. 24 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. the Broadway Bridge will be closed for repairs. The Portland Streetcar will not be running on the bridge during this closure. Use alternative routes. This closure is not weather dependent. Multnomah County maintains the Hawthorne, Morrison, Burnside, Broadway, Sellwood and Sauvie Island bridges on the Willamette River. The Broadway Bridge bascule spans can open for river traffic to pass.
