Monthly Overlook Bike Ride and Bike Lane Sweeper on 12/10/2023
Come join neighbors for coffee and a bike ride to help rake/sweep bike lanes on Interstate. More info: https://www.shift2bikes.org/calendar/event-16240
Starting at The Stacks Coffeehouse starting at 9:30am and will head out around 10:15am. We will be riding along portions of Interstate Ave cleaning up leaves/debris from the bike lanes! We’ll even have a special guest: BikeLoud PDX’s state-of-the-art Bike Lane Sweeper to help! Please bring cleaning tools, a cargo bike/trailer, and the whole family to help if possible! After the ride we’ll grab lunch at ArborLook Carts for those who can stick around!

Road Closures due to Foot Traffic’s Holiday Half Marathon 12/10/2023
The race starts and finishes at Daimler Truck North America campus on Swan Island from 7:40-11:45am. Find road closures for the course below and find more information here.

OKNA General Meeting for December is Canceled 12/11/2023
The OKNA General Meeting for December is canceled. The Board will instead be having a mini-retreat at this time (Monday 12/11 at 5:30pm at The Stacks Coffeehouse). Neighbors are welcome to attend as passive observers but are not permitted to participate. Our January OKNA Meeting will be scheduled for Monday January 8th at 6:30pm at the Beach Elementary School Auditorium.

Overlook Nature Patch Work on 12/13/2023
What: Planting and Weeding
When: Wednesday, December 13th, from 10am-noon
Where: Overlook Park Nature Patch – meet at the top of the hill on the north side of the park.

Utility Locates and Drilling at N Delaware and Madrona Park 12/13-14/2023
Environmental Services is designing a project to install new pipes, and repair and replace aging public sewer pipes along N Greeley Street in North Portland. Replacing and repairing the aging and damaged sewer pipes and installing new pipes will help protect public health and the environment by reducing the possibility of sewage releases to homes, businesses, and streets. Utility locates and drilling are scheduled to occur between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13 and Thursday, December 14. For more information read about it here.
