2. OKNA Board Elections Coming Up
Our annual OKNA Board Elections are right around the corner, and we’re looking for volunteers from the neighborhood who are willing to serve. There are a number of openings and ways to get involved, which could include parks and recreation, movies in the park, public safety, sustainability, land use and development, communications (and WordPress folks out there?), and more. If you’re interested in learning more about open needs and how you can get involved please reach out to our Chair, Alexandra Degher (chair@overlookneighborhood.org) by no later than September 11 to be included on the ballot for the vote on September 21.
3. Paint the Intersection – N Concord and Jarrett
If you missed the first Intersection painting and neighborhood block party that happened a few weeks ago, you can get a second chance! There is another Intersection mural being painted at the corner of Jarrett St and Concord Avenue on Sunday, August 22nd. Come enjoy the time with neighbors in this great community.
