2. BIKETOWN Service Area Expansion
Did you know? The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) and BIKETOWN, operated by Lyft, are expanding their service area by 9 square miles, growing by 25 percent. In North Portland, the expanded service area brings in the University of Portland and downtown St. Johns. It also includes all or large sections of the Arbor Lodge, Cathedral Park, Kenton, Portsmouth, and University Park neighborhoods.

3. One More Opportunity: Help Plant the Overlook Park Nature Patch
The natural-themed garden at Overlook Park is ready to get planted! Lots of flowering, native plants to install to foster pollinator habitat and create unique forest and meadow spaces to enjoy year-round. Join your neighbors at our last family-friendly volunteer day to help bring the nature patch to life on February 12th, 10:00 a.m. to Noon. The official ribbon cutting will also take place this day.

4. North Portland in Motion Open House
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is developing a new transportation plan for North Portland, known as North Portland in Motion. PBOT wants to hear from you! There’s still time to weigh in through the first online open house, which ends January 31, 2022.
Help PBOT understand your transportation experience in North Portland. How do you get around? What do you find difficult or challenging about transportation in North Portland? Where should PBOT invest its time and resources?

5. Where would you like new public trash cans in North Portland?
Late this spring the City of Portland will be adding 100 new public trash cans throughout North Portland. The cans will be emptied twice a week, paid for by the City. Please take a moment and complete a brief survey, about where these new trash cans should be placed.
