1. Soupstainability: Sustainability Soup Potluck (Thurs., 10/21)
“The Power of Community”, a one-hour movie, will be screened during a soup potluck and followed by a discussion of sustainability in Overlook. We hope to form an Overlook Neighbors for Sustainability group to discuss ways we can forward these ideas in our community and put them into practice for ourselves. Please bring your favorite soup/bread/salad and your own bowl/utensil/beverage and join us on Thursday, October 21 from 6:00-08:00 pm at the Overlook House, 3839 N Melrose Drive.
Questions? Contact Leslee Lewis at 503.282.6054 or email kgllport@ aol.com with Soupstainability in the subject line.

Each year for the past 10 years, we have been proud to offer a free day of workshops to empower parents and other caring adults to be actively involved in their school community and beyond. We firmly believe that families are essential partners in public education.
This year, we are thrilled that the Multnomah County/City of Portland Education Cabinet will help us expand our conference beyond PPS to include all school districts in Multnomah County!
