1) OKNA Meeting This Week (3/19)
Join your neighbors this Tuesday evening for a spirited neighborhood meeting covering lots of local issues. Our agenda includes:
Clean Water Portland on why fluoridating the water supply is not a good idea,
Barry Manning from the Bureau of Planning & Sustainability will review the Portland Comprehensive Plan process and how we can help shape the city’s future, (this is the presentation mistakenly advertised for last month’s meeting) and
Tomatoes for Trash, the OKNA Earth Day Clean Up features a new incentive!
We’ll also have our usual safety report, committee reports and discussion of upcoming business.

2) Celebrate Spring with Friends of Overlook Bluff (3/21)

for two presentations, updates, refreshments & prizes:
Bob La Du will speak on “Overlook, Three Firsts” regarding our historic neighborhood and Nikki West from Audubon’s Backyard Habitat Certification Program will talk about the benefits and process for becoming a ‘backyard habitat’. Then Friends of Overlook Bluff will give an overview of its efforts for the coming year, including insight into a grant to create an oak meadow around the Heritage Oak tree on Overlook Terrace.

3) Free Concert at Overlook House (4/13)
Join the award winning musicians of Duo con Brio April 13th, 2013 @ 2pm at the Historic Overlook House. This concert is FREE and financially backed through a grant given by RACC (Regional Arts and Culture Council). Seating is limited to the first 50 guests and will be handled through TicketLeap.
