3) Sewer Restoration Continues
Several residents and property owners have inquired about the restoration work yet to be done on some sidewalks, curbs, driveway aprons, planting strips and other areas affected by sewer construction, including in Campbell, Court, Overlook Terrace Alley, Mason, Massachusetts, Simpson and Sumner streets. Concrete segments will be poured, top soil replaced and grass re-seeded by next April, 2014, following completion of major construction activities. All locations that have been emailed or called in to Public Involvement have been placed on a list and shared with the construction team. Construction crews continue to focus on major sewer construction and street restoration activities. We appreciate your patience.

5) OSPIRG Cares About Your Credit Concerns
The Oregon State Public Interest Research Group sent out a mailing about their latest project.
Does checking your credit hurt your credit score? Will cancelling your credit card hurt your credit? Here are some answers.
Knowing what affects your credit is essential to your financial health because your credit affects everything from your ability to get a mortgage, a car loan or even a job. That’s why we put together answers to some of the most common questions about how to manage your credit.

6) Adopt-A-Neighbor Program
Overlook neighbors have shown incredible giving spirits the past 2 years and REACH Resident Services is putting out the call for 2013. Families like those living at Patton Park Apartments (5272 N. Interstate) are often left out of gift-giving and receiving. Through your donations of a new toy, jacket or basic necessity (food, diapers, bus tickets), families restore their sense of community and hope. REACH Community Development’s Patton Park Apartments is home to over 40 children living below median income. We are seeking Overlook neighbors who are interested in adopting a neighbor for the holidays.
To adopt or for more information, contact Erica Tucker, MSW- Resident Services Coordinator at 503-546-1662 etucker@reachcdc.org.
