General Meeting (Tues., May 17, 7:00, Kaiser Town Hall, 3704 N Interstate Ave)

Don't forget, next Tuesday is our monthly neighborhood association meeting. The main item will be a presentation will be a  North Portland Mosquito Infestation Presentation from Multnomah County Vector and Nuisance Control. The extended rainy season this year is expected to result in LOTS of mosquitoes. The presentation will cover what to expect and what we can do. Other North Portland neighborhood associations are invited to attend

The organizers of the North American Organic Brewers Festival (scheduled for Overlook Park June 24-26) will also be on hand.

The Interstate Farmers Market opens next week, including their new Saturday location at De La Salle High School (Interstate and Lombard). Don't w

orry, Wednesday s will still be at Overlook Park.

May 18: Opening Day Celebration – Overlook Market. 3pm-7pm fresh produce, live music by the Shook Twins, a cooking demonstration, and lots more!

May 21: Opening Day Celebration – Lombard Market. 9am-1:30pm help us kick off the fist ever market day of the Lombard market! Get the kids, neighbors, and passersby and walk or bike to the new neighborhood market. The vendors are ready and waiting for you, and the music is playing…come be part of history!
