1. North Portland Tool Library Fundraiser (Wed., 5/18)

Where: McMenamins White Eagle Saloon (836 N Russell)
When: Wed., 5/18 5:00pm-midnight (minors welcome until 8:00)
What: Featuring music by Roseland Hunters (funky New Orleans inspired music) and Todd Bishop (French pop/jazz/nu-jazz)

2. Interstate Farmers Market Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser (Sat., 5/7)

Where: De La Salle High School (7528 N Fenwich) – site of this season's additional Saturday market
When: Sat., 5/7 9:00am-noon
What:
“The whole family is welcome, for a delicious breakfast of blueberry pancakes and bacon, and juice and coffee, generously donated by our partners.  That's right: Carlton Farms bacon, real maple syrup from Classic Foods, fresh squeezed orange juice from Aloha Juice…we'll even have tempeh bacon & vegan or gluten-free panckaes!
“We'll kick off this new market season with an upbeat mood with live music by children's entertainer, `Uncle Yascha,' and lots of other fun including seed planting in the Kids Activity Booth.”

3. North Portland Greenway Trail Alignment Preview (Thurs., 5/12)

Where: Daimler Trucks North America Corporation Conference Center (4555 N Channel Avenue, Swan Island)
When: Thurs., 5/12. 6:30-8:00pm. Come early (6:00) for a guided walk of the Greenway Trail along Swan Island. 
Staff from the City of Portland and North Portland Neighborhood Services will be on hand to present the project scope of work and timeline.  There will also be an update on Going to the River and Waud Bluff Trails.

4. Liquor License Applications

There are two of them. Let OLCC know if you have concerns related to crime, alcohol, alcohol related behavior or drugs.  Traffic, Parking and Trash are not considered during the licensing process at OLCC. Here's the info:

1. New Outlet/Full On-Premises – THE OLD GOLD – 2105 N KILLINGSWORTH ST (in the old car repair place next to Beaterville)

The restaurant THE OLD GOLD,  applied to change their privilege to a Full On premises sales license (which allows the sale of distilled spirits, malt beverages, wine and cider for consumption on the premises).  The applicant currently holds a Limited On premises license which does not allow the sale of distilled spirits.  The contact for this application is EZRA CARAEFF – (503) 351-9179.
