Expect some traffic detours into Overlook as people get back on the highway at N Going Street or N Alberta Street. Most travelers should use I-405 as a detour.
4) Spirit of Portland Awards – Call for nominations

5) Learn about Portland’s traffic and transportation
The Portland Bureau of Transportation and Portland State University again this year will conduct a 2018Â PSU Traffic and Transportation Class that offers Portland residents the opportunity to learn about the city’s transportation system while working on actual neighborhood projects that affect the community.
Participants will work with decision- and policy-makers, planners, scholars, and engineers to get their neighborhood transportation projects moving.
This interactive PSU class is open to Portland residents. Full scholarships are available for the 10-week course, which begins Sept. 27 meets Thursday nights 6:40-8:40. Â The classes are live-streamed for participants who might otherwise not be able to attend in person on the PSU campus in downtown Portland.
