OKNA Board Meeting and Elections September 9, 2024 at 6:30pm

Please join us for our next community meeting and elections for the OKNA board that will be held on September 9, 2024 at The Stacks Coffeehouse at 1831 N Killingsworth starting at 6:30pm.

Columbia Park Tree Walk with the Arbor Lodge Tree Team

Join the Arbor Lodge Tree Team on Sunday, September 8th 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Columbia Park for a walk to learn about the history and trees of Columbia Park. The group will meet at Columbia Cottage, close to the corner of Lombard and Russet, and take a leisurely stroll around the park visiting about 10 trees.


Volunteer at the 28th Portland Polish Festival on September 14 & 15th!

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help celebrate Polish culture, music, and community. Whether you’re serving food, assisting with activities, or helping with set-up, your time and energy will make a big difference. Plus, it’s a great way to meet new people and be part of something special!

Last Call for Vendors for the Overlook Markets!

We are getting excited about our new monthly Overlook Markets coming up in October, November and December. The Market Committee is now accepting vendor applications. We are seeking makers, crafters, bakers, gardeners, anything made locally in small batches. The application deadline is September 7, 2024 and vendors will be notified by September 14.

The Market dates are October 26, November 30 and December 21 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, rain or shine. There is no booth fee this year, but you must provide your own 10 x 10 canopy and table. Preference for vendors will be given to Overlook residents. Scan the QR code in the flyer or email events@overlookneighborhood.org

We are also looking for volunteers for the Market Committee! Let’s make these fun events with something for everyone. Any

Overlook House City Council District 2 City Council Candidate Meet and Greet

Friends of The Overlook House are sponsoring a meet and greet with Portland City Council Candidates for District 2 on Thursday, September 26th, from 5pm – 7pm at The Historic Overlook House 3839 N Melrose Dr. Portland, OR 97227Come meet your candidates and hear what they have to say to make our city a better place.

Well not an actual coffee, we enjoy coffee from The Stacks Coffeehouse for our meetings. But we are seeking community donations in earnest this year, for the first time.
