Avoid Killingsworth between Denver and Interstate next week April 26-30

Starting Monday, April 26, PBOT will begin a street improvement project in the intersection of Killingsworth and Concord. Years ago the original street car rails had been paved over, and that combined with heavy traffic and major bus lines has this intersection needing attention. Work will take place between 7am and 3pm daily, and should finish by Friday, April 30.

Detours will be in place so expect more traffic on Denver, Interstate, and Willamette in the vicinity of the intersection. TriMet’s Line 72 will not stop at Killingsworth & Concord because it will be detoured, probably up to Ainsworth between Denver & Interstate. Please be aware of this project over the next week and avoid the area if possible.
